What we’ve gotten is unsustainable deficits, a jobless rate hovering around 10 percent and the near collapse of parts of the European Union. First he dared to opine that some parts of the 1964 Civil Right Act – while commendable in their ideals -- might have lacked constitutional authority. But now, he’s going too far. He’s saying that the Fourteenth Amendment does NOT grant citizenship to the American-born children of illegal aliens. |
